People usually call certain pollution-free products environmentally friendly products. Currently, each country has a special system to constrain "environmental protection". Environmentally friendly products can be seen everywhere in our lives. Many companies emphasize that their products are environmentally friendly and low-carbon when advertising. As people's awareness of environmental protection increases, environmentally friendly products are becoming more and more popular.
Metal buttons may seem small, but they are just a small decoration in clothing. However, many of my country's exported clothing are returned because of the small buttons' environmental protection failure. This is really in line with the saying: "One rotten apple spoils the whole barrel". In order to follow the world trend and protect the world's ecological environment, environmentally friendly metal buttons should attract our attention. Let's learn about the characteristics of environmentally friendly metal buttons.
Environmental requirements for buttons: Environmental protection for metal buttons mainly refers to the requirement that electroplating must be free of lacquer, and surface treatments such as spraying must also be free of lacquer, lead, heavy metals, and plasticizers. For environmentally friendly buttons, lacquer-free electroplating must be selected during electroplating, and according to the requirements of clothing production and processing, sometimes further treatment is required after electroplating: such as lacquering, acid-proof lacquering, high-temperature lacquering, etc. These have little to do with environmental protection, but only play a certain protective role (such as anti-discoloration, anti-rust, etc.).
According to customer requirements, we may also spray oil, apply oil, drip glue, inlay diamonds and other processes on the surface of the electroplated buttons. Remember to use environmentally friendly materials for these processes. The current method of testing environmentally friendly buttons is through potion testing (similar to the method of PH test paper, using ammonia potion for testing). Generally, the QC of the manufacturer can test on your behalf. Among the common button rolling colors, green bronze, white zinc, red bronze and other colors are environmentally friendly colors. Some clothing factories require manufacturers to send products to testing agencies for testing and issue test certificates. Such as SGS test reports.
Needle detector requirements: Needle detector refers to the use of electromagnetic principles to detect the iron (nickel) content per unit area of the product. If the electroplating is not nickel-free, it must not pass the needle detector. High-precision copper products, surface treatment is environmentally friendly and nickel-free, can pass the needle detector. Because copper materials are classified into 62/65/68 (the 68 copper referred to on the market is actually 65 high-precision copper), and sometimes manufacturers even use some copper materials recycled from waste materials, which contain high iron materials and cannot pass the needle detector. Large factories are used to produce 68# high-precision copper. From raw materials, production, polishing, washing, electroplating, oiling, oiling, and dripping, only environmentally friendly raw materials are used to ensure that the metal is environmentally friendly from the source.
Matters needing attention in continuous dyeing of ribbons

1. Factors of ribbon blanks: First of all, we should pay attention to whether the yarn used in the ribbon blanks is from the same batch, because the "oil" contained in different batches of yarn is different. If it is blended, it will become a factor of the color in the dyeing process; secondly, whether the blank has been pre-treated. The dyeing effect of the refined blank is very good, because the "oil" on the yarn is removed after treatment, and the dye can be directly in contact with the fiber for dyeing without protection.
