When using a washing machine or dryer, make sure the zipper is fully closed. If the zipper is not fully closed, it may get tangled with other clothes and damage the chain teeth or slider, or the fabric of other clothes. Long or thin sliders may get caught in the holes of the drum and break, so it is recommended to use a laundry bag when washing clothes with zippers. After drying, wait until the temperature of the clothes has returned to normal temperature before opening or closing the zipper.
Strong alkaline detergents or chlorine bleach may affect the use of zippers. If this happens, use softener, paraffin or ordinary wax to lubricate the chain teeth. Do not soak clothes with zippers in detergent for a long time, otherwise it may cause serious damage to the zipper.
